Ingredients
1 cup moong
4 curry leaves
1/4 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
1/2 cup water
For masala
1 cup coconut
5 dry red chillies
1 tsp coriander seeds
1/8 tsp mustard
1/8 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp tamarind
1/4 onion
1 clove garlic
Instructions
Soak moong for 12 hours, drain water. Close vessel and keep in warm place for 7-8 hours.
Cook moong with water for 5 minutes.
Grind masala to a fine paste with a little water.
Add masala to moong, add turmeric and curry leaves, add water to adjust thickness and boil
